Puppy Application Process - Application Below
Once we receive your completed application, we’ll review your responses and get back to you as soon as possible.. Below, you’ll find an overview of our entire process — from submitting your application to the exciting day your puppy is ready to go home. As a small, dedicated hobby breeder, we don’t always have puppies available year-round. However, we will always respond to let you know the anticipated timeline for our next planned litter and provide an update on our current waitlist status.
1. Submit Your Application
Complete our application (form below). This helps us get to know you, your home, and your goals for a future Labrador.
2. Waitlist Placement
Once your application is approved, you’ll be added to our official waitlist in the order applications are received.
3. Pregnancy Confirmation & Initial Deposit
When a pregnancy is confirmed and puppies are counted via x-ray, we’ll notify you with the expected due date and next steps.
If you’d like to move forward with a puppy from that litter, a $100 non-refundable partial deposit is due at this time. This secures your spot and confirms your commitment.
If the timing isn’t right, we’ll offer the spot to the next family on the list, and you’re welcome to remain on the waitlist for a future litter.
4. Litter Details & Remaining Deposit
One to two weeks after the puppies are born, we’ll share details such as colors, genders, and anticipated going-home dates.
If you choose to proceed, the remaining $400 of our $500 non-refundable deposit will be due (with $100 already paid with the partial deposit mentioned above).
5. Matching Puppies to Families
At 7 to 8 weeks of age, we thoughtfully match each puppy with their new family based on temperament, individual family needs, special interest, and any preferences regarding gender and/or color. During this time, our veterinarian conducts a comprehensive health evaluation for every puppy. We also assess which puppies may be retained to further strengthen and advance our breeding program.
6. Final Payment & Contract
The remaining balance must be paid, and your purchase contract signed and returned at least one day before pick-up. This ensures pick-up day is focused on the dogs, not paperwork.
7. Pick-Up Day
Puppies go home at 8 weeks of age. If a puppy remains with us past 9 weeks, a $75/day boarding and training fee will apply.
***Please note we do not ship puppies at this time***
